16 Nov Pawn My Car FAQ’s
There are many ways to raise cash when you’re facing financial difficulty, but there are few as quick and easy as a car pawn loan.
You may be asking yourself, how can I pawn my car to raise cash?
Here is a quick guide to answer the Top 10 Frequently Asked Questions.
1. How do I qualify to pawn my car?
You need to own a fully paid-up car in your name.
We cannot accept cars that have outstanding loan amounts on them as by law the car still belongs to the bank. The vehicle also needs to be in your name as we cannot process a loan agreement on someone else’s car.
2. What type of cars do you accept?
We accept a wide variety of vehicles including all the popular passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, commercial vehicles, trucks and even buses. Basically any motor vehicle with a re-sale value can be used to raise cash quickly.
3. If I pawn my car, can I keep it?
Yes. We are the only company in South Africa that will allow you to pawn your car and still drive it. We don’t take away your freedom, we understand you need to get to work, go shopping, do school runs etc.
We do however need to fit the car with a GPS system to make sure it does not go missing and we’re left in the red.
4. Do you offer pawn to stay?
Yes we do. We can store your car in our secure storage facilities, and with this option your loan repayment rates are slightly better as there is less risk for us.
5. Can I pawn my car in Cape Town?
Yes you can. We have offices in Milnerton and you can call or stop by for a free no obligation assessment from Monday to Saturday.
6. Can I pawn my car in Johannesburg?
Yes. You can visit our Sandburg office where a friendly consultant can take you through the entire process from start to finish. Typically this takes less than 30 minutes.
7. Can I pawn my car for cash?
We do not keep cash on the premise but you can get an instant transfer to your bank account on approval. We work with all major banks in South Africa and you’ll have money in your account before you leave the premises.
8. What are the loan repayment periods?
We offer short term loans of 30 to 60 days but you can discuss longer periods with a professional consultant.
9. Can I pawn my car in Pretoria?
Absolutely. We have offices located in the CBD with friendly staff available to assist you six days a week.
We recommend calling first to arrange an appointment but you are welcome to stop by anytime you’re in the area.
